Good afternoon. My name is Tom Brunson off certified master tech out of budding Pennsylvania. And today I’m going to show you how to change brake pads. Now the first thing you want to do, let’s make sure the car is all jacked up and secured nice and easy. Up near you’re going to locate your two bolts. Three bolts are four bolts holding your caliper on. Typically just to take your two bolts out and make sure you’re going the right way.
These bolts out, take your caliper out and the last thing you want to do is let this thing hanging down here. She won’t bring it up here, let it rest up there. Nice and easy. Put your brake pads out of the holders. Real simple to come out. Good. That’d be new ones sliding might in their first year out of the way so you can see here. Set that in there.
You know what? Take your brake pad set in here. Take your brake caliber toy. You can find these any local parts store asking for when you’re going to buy your brake pads. Are there new under $10 did you brake pad in there? Put this in there and just start turning in there. It’ll pull one side in and then the other set of the following suit.
I’m trying to see if she can see it. Why don’t you get that all the way back? It’ll stop on its own. Pull this out. Take your break pen, sir.
So that back over and not smash little boots here. Put your bolts back in it. Just make sure you pump up your brake pedal before you move it. It’s as easy as that.
