Function Descriptions

GPS & GPRS Functions

  • Picture Transmission: Via GPRS module, the picture can be sent to Remote Control Center instantaneously.
  • SMS (Short Message Service) : Via GPRS module, SMS can be sent to your mobile phone (up to 10 mobile phone) instantaneously.
  • (AVL) Tracking system : Via GPS and GPRS modules, users can trace the vehicle location data instantaneously.

GIS Dispatch System

  • GPS Data can be sent to the Remote Control Center via GPRS. This preciouspositioning data can be made meaningful and can be put to various uses through integration with GIS. Combined with E-Map system, the users can control and track the vehicle locations and fleet activities more easily and efficiently.

Alarm Functions

  • Multiple alarm functions : sensor, motion detection, and pre/post alarm functions.
  • Multiple Recording Modes : continuous, interval, scheduled, and alarm recording modes.
  • Alarm Connectors : MT2 can be connected to four (4) dry contact alarm systems (i.e. IR sensors, magnetic switches, etc). When any of the alarm systems is triggered, It can also trigger the alarm recording, D/O alarm systems or alarm messages.
  • Instant Alarm notification: Send pre-set SMS to your mobile phone (up to 10) or transmit the still picture to Remote Control Center when any of the alarm systems is triggered.

Storage Functions

  • Storage : IDE HDD : MT2 features an IDE type 40GB HDD for storage. Normal recording is 2 days for continuous use for a 40GB HDD. (Maximum 80GB HDD for 4 days continuous recording)
  • S tora ge methods : By HDD or CFC
  • Overwrite Function : automatically overwrite when the HDD storage is full.
  • EZ back-up via CFC and USB : Easy to backup data via CF card or USB cable for Playback on PC by Quick Time player.

System Functions

  • SoC(System On Chip) : Minimize power consumption and enhance the system stability and no more shut down again.
  • Watch Dog : Function-auto-return to original operation when power is restored.
  • OSD User Friendly : MT2 uses a IR (or wired) remote control to operate the system.The On-screen display Menu is very simple to operate.

Display Functions

  • Video Display : “One Touch” EZ operation to select NTSC or PAL system.
  • Real time : Real time display on TV.
  • High Resolution : QVGA 320 x 240(10~15fps) high quality picture recording.

Playback Functions

  • File search: Quick multiple search by date/time/event/alarm recording.
  • Playback software: Use quick Time Player or E-Player to playback events recorded.

System Accessories

  • GPS: With an external GPS receiver module, MT2 can show both location data and video on the display.
  • GPRS: With an optional external accessory GPRS module, the picture, co-ordinates, car speed, date and time can be transmitted to the Remote Control Center.
  • GIS system: A powerful mobile information management system, which helps users to trace status of car dispatching…etc.
  • E-Map: A digital map, which gives a graphic representation of services and business within your area.
